What I teach.
Hatha Yoga, the poses we practise in a yoga class strengthen and prepare the body for everyday life. Poses offer many things from strengthening and stretching, opening and creating space in our bodies. As you start to integrate poses with breath, find peace and stillness in your mind and practising simple meditation methods you will start to notice subtle shifts to becoming fully present in your life, situations seems easier to deal with you find more compassion, more patience and more self exceptence.
In my hatha yoga practice I will guide you through breath awareness and movement to arrive in a pose and sequence poses to create a specific outcome. Some practices are more internalizing while others achieving a higher sense of awareness, self trust and self confidence. Each practice ends with a guided relaxation (savasanna).
Basking in Stillness (Meditation)
So many people think because their minds are so busy that they can't meditate. Now if you ask anyone that knows me I am the queen of a busy mind. Meditating or sitting in the quiet can be challenging but with commitment and consistency and using certain focal points it is something that everyone can achieve. Breath is an awesome focal point easy to do and the benefits even by sitting for just 5-10 minutes a day will create clarity, help with sleep and anxiety.

Tuesdays 6:30 - 7:30 pm Mountain Time
Thursdays 9 - 10 am Mountain Time
10 am Yogi Chat Time (15-30mins)
Saturdays 2 per month
What is yogi chat time? Online classes are so convenient and are a great option to a group setting. However as a teacher it makes it a little more challenging to offer suggestions to improve a pose and as a student you may have questions as to "am I doing this right"? So I have this time set aside to help everyone along the way. Sometimes a few people just stay on to say hello. Its part of our yogic community.
