The poses we practise in a yoga class strengthen and prepare the body for sitting for meditation. Poses offer many things from strengthening and stretching, opening and creating space in our bodies. Integrated with breath and awareness.
In my hatha yoga practice I will guide you through breath awareness and movement to arrive in a pose and sequence poses to create a specific outcome. Some practices are more internalizing while others achieving a higher sense of awareness, self trust and self confidence. Each practice ends with a guided relaxation (savasanna)
