I started doing yoga in 2000 by 2008 I took my 200-hour teacher training. In 2010 I started studying yoga with Rod Stryker of ParaYoga, learning the systems of yoga and how it can help us evolve as human beings.
Our lives are journeys where all kinds of things unfold - sometimes it's blue skies and you feel on top of the world, and other times the road can be rough. Through yoga and meditation we gain insight and tools that help us adapt to the many changing paths our lives meander down. Life has many paths and yoga can be a very beneficial tool to help along the way. Simply put I love teaching and practicing yoga.
I recently moved to Kelowna, B.C from Alberta. Alberta was home for me for 43 years. This was a giant leap of faith for me to follow my intuition and embrace this new path. It has also freed up some time so that I may continue to grow as an individual, seek out further yoga studies, and do what I love and that is teach.
I awake everyday with enthusiasm for what the day may hold. Yoga is woven into all aspects of my life from high on the mountain tops on my mountain bike, hiking within the cedars and stopping to take in that divine smell to hopping on my stand up paddle or kayak to enjoy the beauty and serenity of the water.
Yoga is the practice of slowing down and appreciating all that is. I hope to inspire and guide many to flow in their own unique path.
